Chunky Shawl

A woolly shawl for my MIL. Another fabulously easy knitting pattern by Diana.
Knitted using one 200g skein of James C Brett Marble Chunky Yarn in shade MC13 on 8mm needles.

AlHamdulillah

What I'd really like to make is the Flower Basket Shawl by Evelyn Clark beautifully knitted here by Grace Schnebly but I think it would be a bit too ambitious for me at this stage!

Winter warmers

Decided to take up knitting again - I find it calming.

I wanted to knit a chunky scarf in cotton for one of my DDs , but all they had was some very nice luxury cotton in DK, So I used two strands together on 8mm needles. The finished scarf is about 5 inches wide and 10 feet long, masha-Allah. It's a farrow rib scarf following this pattern by Diana Troldahl.

This one was made following the 'Harris Tweed' Scarf pattern by Atomic Rose
In cotton too but in more manly colours for my DH. It's knitted on 5.5mm needles, a bit wider than the other scarf and about 5 feet long.

AlHamdulillah
